Where is Physio Cottage located and how can I find you?
Our clinic is at 2231 Victoria Park Ave, Unit #5, Scarborough, ON M1R 1V8, near Victoria Park Ave and Ellesmere Rd. Parking is easy. Call (416) 445-5353 if you need help finding us.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book online, call us at (416) 445-5353, or email physiocottage@gmail.com.
Do you accept walk-in patients?
We prefer scheduled appointments so each patient gets a full session, but we accommodate walk-ins when possible. It is best to call ahead so we can confirm availability.
What should I expect during my first visit?
On your first visit we review your medical history, assess your condition through a physical examination and movement tests, discuss your goals and propose a personalized treatment plan. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?
In most cases no referral is required. Some insurance plans or workplaces may ask for one. We can check your coverage before your appointment.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards and debit. We also work with many insurance providers; please check with us ahead of time to confirm your coverage.
Do you bill directly to insurance?
In many cases we can submit claims on your behalf to your extended health insurance provider. For some plans you pay at the time of service and submit the receipt for reimbursement.
What is your cancellation or no-show policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. This helps us keep timely access for other patients.
Do you treat injuries from car accidents or WSIB claims?
Yes. We provide care for motor vehicle accident injuries, WSIB claims and other rehabilitation needs, and we have experience working within those systems to support your recovery.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, closed Sunday.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition, how long you have had it and your goals. After your assessment your physiotherapist will explain the plan and how often you should come in, and the plan is adjusted as you progress.
